One Day Women’s Health & Ayurveda
met Julia Blohberger

Sunday the 13th of March

Understand your own cycle and learn to integrate it into your daily life

Women’s health encompasses many different stages of life which every female goes through. The main phases are called: menarche, pregnancy, postpartum, and menopause. This retreat focusses on the menstrual cycle and menopause: becoming deeply attuned and aware of it.

Living in tune with your cycle means leaning into what the body is telling you. Learning to listen when to slow down and when to over-pack your agenda with social activities. Being in tune with your own menstrual flow will help you to flow more effortlessly through live. It is a beautiful way to step into the power of the feminine, which Julia truly hopes to inspire you to do. Not only energetically it will help you to understand the highs and lows during your moon cycle, it also helps you to decrease the symptoms of PMS and cramping when adapting your daily routine to the cycle.

Ayurveda is a holistic health care system that literally translates into “the knowledge of life”. It evolved thousands of years ago and is still relevant in our daily lives. The ultimate goal of Ayurveda is to create harmony between the body, mind and spirit. Ayurveda views every individual as a unique expression of nature and because of this each person has a different path towards their optimal health and happiness. Through the understanding of our individual needs we nurture and cultivate health and beauty from within and experience the healing effects of Ayurveda. As a science of self-healing, Ayurveda encompasses diet and nutrition combining lifestyle, exercise, relaxation, meditation, breathing exercises and medical herbs.

Julia will touch upon the basics of Ayurveda and the three primary Doshas (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha), the five elements (Ether, Air, Fire, Water and Earth). From there we will dive deeper into Women’s Health focussing on the female cycle and how to lean into it and work with the four seasons we as women go through each month.

About Julia

Julia was first introduced to Ayurveda during her Yoga Teacher Training in 2013. Ever since she has been drawn to the holistic system in which body, mind and soul are integrated to create a balanced life.

Women’s Health has always been a major focus point, starting from the day she has been introduced to anticonception at a young age of 17. She tried almost everything from the hormonal pill, to the ring to IUD. During the phase of anticonception she started developing boulimia nervosa, which stopped straight away once she went off hormonal anti conception in 2014. This motivated her to study more thoroughly her cycle and natural anticonception, which has shown her new portals of the feminine deep within.

She hopes to give you the tools to explore your own cycle meeting your own raw/ wild/ hidden and unseen woman!

Through Ayurveda and body awareness practices, such as breathwork, yoga and movement she hopes to help her students to connect with self-love and contentment through a deeper knowledge of their body and mind.
